India signs an agreement with Vietnam

India is expected to sign agreements on oil exploration and
air connectivity. Mr.Pranab Mukherjee,here on Sunday was received at the Noi
Bai International Airport by the Vietnamese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs
and Chairman Of President’s Office Mr.Dao Viet Trung.Oil Minister Mr.Dharmendra
Pradhan also accompanied the President. He has also decided to visit the
historic city of Ho Chi Minh,during his four-day trip. Agreements between ONGC
Videsh Limited and Petro Vietnam are to be signed for the joint exploration in
the South China sea block. On Monday Mr.
Mukherjee is said to meet Mr.Troung Tan Sang ,the President and Mr. Nguyen Tang
Dung,the Prime Minister of the country.
