Making hindi compulsory

Yesterday’s news reported that the Union Home Minister  has declared Hindi as the official language. This declaration was pushed to conflicts and was denied by Mr.M Karunanidhi, DMK leader. He said that it is an attempt to create difference among the non-Hindi speakers and to regard them as second-class  citizens. Making hindi compulsory should not be understood in this way . As hindi being the national language ,there is no harm in learning it.
