Do you think it is” awkward “to discuss about sexual abuse
and violence in public??
-Abbhirami
No it is definitely not .And you got to discuss about it.
On one hand you can see women fighting for their place in the
parliament ,on the other you can see some women still struggling even to get out from
their house. The male chauvinistic society had been dominating women for quiet
a very long time. India, a county famous for its culture with many goddesses, has now become notorious for
the sexual violence against women. You can see a lot of rivers in India possess
names of women. And people usually call the language that you speak as “mother”
tongue, the land in which you were born, you stayed, you died, -“mother” land. Just
naming lifeless things does not make women” respectable”. Even though hard and
fast rules are written in the constitution , you can see more examples of
sexual abuse and violence against women more ubiquitous in India and it is increasing
day-by-day. It is really a shameful thing. Just feeling the shamefulness is not
going to gain you anything. Act on it. Punishment has to be given. Once it is
given so severely then none will have the courage to do that again. Government must
reframe the laws, and make it so strict. Any person misbehaving or indulging in
any kind of sexual abuse and violence must be punished brutally.
Technologically we
are growing and we are proud of it. But now we have started to lose our human
nature.
Media plays THE main role in this. It usually makes use of
women to advertise products. Some ads are really idiotic and irritating to
watch on screen, with women not clothed properly. Any movie that portrays women
vulgarly and obscene must not be screened. Parental advisory (PAL) is so necessary, for
movies that contain things that are offensive and unsuitable for children. Government
must put this into play.
And lastly to all women who read this, any person
misbehaving with you, report to police immediately or just punish him. When that
misbehaving person is not afraid of doing such thing to you, then why the heck
you are scared to hit him?
A good article fr the betterment of human race. Girls and ladies please change ur self and don't be afraid of strangers u have the right to ask......
