Unemployment, Underemployment, Unemployable-Continued.
- Abbhirami
According to 2014 June statistics, India has 8.8 percent of unemployment. This percentage rate is big when compared to nations like China,
Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, UK and the US. This statistics reveals to the world
that how much effort a country must put to pull the unemployment percentage to zero.
Education stands number one and the only one factor that determines this. When you
take a look at the educational system of any country you find a very structured
one. And you can also find a common examination that evaluates a student. But
in India, there are different streams and different examinations that evaluate
a student. This has got its own disadvantage. There is always confusion among
the parents to put their child in a “good” stream. So here comes a question,
what is a “good” stream? Any stream that lets the child to think in a practical
way and develop and enhance his/her creativity is a good one, I would say.
You can’t teach certain things right? Some skills stands essential
for certain job. So it is important that each one of us have to find out our
own latent talents. It is really hard to find out, but there is no other go. You
have certain questionnaire to help you with this. So try some and get benefited.
A new category has now sprung up–Unemployables. They are
candidates who are not eligible for a job even though they are said to have possessed
required degree. This is something serious. This category will then meander
into the unemployment track, increasing unemployment rates. Proper and prior
attention must be given to this category immediately. To all the problems there are
only 2 solutions. One is good education and then your creativeness. Sounds so
simple, right? But this is the key. To be successful in any job you got to have
something special. Try and learn each day to improve yourself. Every action of yours
must pack a punch.
