A Common Man

Beneath every darkest side lies some light we tend to miss out. Every soul that is dwelling in this world comes across pains and sufferings. A simple thing that we miss out to think sometimes takes a gigantic attention.

People stay, eat, live and think that this the ultimate way of living.”Live and Let live “is a very common adage that is profoundly used just for the sake of usage. The real meaning can only be got only if people started to do the latter part-“Let Live”.

Writing this lets me remember one incident that took place in my life.
It was a usual morning and I boarded my school bus. The bus took many twisted roots to get into an area. The bus halted to load the school children. Then came a man rushing in his bike. The speed that he went on the road left me gape. Luckily, I noticed his helmet color and the clothing he wore, and parcels that were flying as he rode. All my bus mates peeped out their heads through the window to look at the bike and the person riding it. Some scolded him and I was one among them.

After a couple of halts, I noticed the same man, the man who rode at a lighting speed in his bike stopped near an old man wearing untidy clothes, usually termed as a beggar. The old man was so bony and seemed like he had not taken food for months. This guy was giving the food parcel to that old man and was sitting near him, chatting. The moment I saw this I felt bad for scolding that guy. Even though he has crossed his speed limits and had disobeyed the road rules, this one act he did is highly worth an appreciation. In the midst of a busy crowd he was the one to notice that dying soul, and had a heart to help him.

These kinds of incidents that you come across makes you think at times, that there are still good hearted people living hidden contributing something to the society they live in.
