The attack on the Afghan Parliament on Monday grabbed the people’s attention and people were dumbstruck. Kabul, called as one of the fortified place was shook by this attack. This shows that Taliban will never stop playing the war game.

Many years back Taliban attacked Presidential Palace, The U.S and the Indian embassies and the International Hotel in Kabul. This clearly portrays that Afghan government and army has got least power. If this case continues then it would be a worst nightmare for the people living there. The most affected will be the women and children. Already the women of some Arab countries face hardship and are declined of their rights, when Taliban takes over this will be still worse.

President Ashraf Gahani, who took the power in 2014, said the public that he would solve some of the significant issues .But his actions were not as good as he stated. To our surprise, the Defense Minister post is vacant in Afghanistan for past nine months!

Afghanistan first of all needs a strategy that focuses clearly on the security challenges. It needs to set a prolonged security to gain the trust of the people. This step is just enough which would then be a platform to improve the state of the nation.
