Prioritizing
Abbhirami
Whenever I sit to do something, I don’t really know what I should
do first. I think most us will be facing this same problem. We wrestle with our
thoughts to find what has to be done firstly, but mostly we end up doing
nothing.
Prioritizing is really a skill. What “should” be done
differs from what “has to” be done. What must be done should go on top of the
list pushing other works down the list. It is quite similar to “need and “want”
scenario. Where the need is fulfilled and then comes wants. Finding out what
has to be done first is where the knack lies.
After prioritizing things, the very next problem we tend to
face is time management. Many of finish our work in the eleventh hour, even
though we are given with plenty of time.
If any work has to be done quickly, it has to be done with
some interest in it. If you have no interest in it, please don’t waste your
time, trying to pretend you are working on that very work. This really saves a
lot of time, I guess.
