Technology gets bigger, better and unimaginable day by day. This is something we are all familiar about. I was skimming some of the project works undertaken by Microsoft in its research labs and I was gaping as I was coming across certain things. And I couldn't wait to share with you these details.

So here are some of the coolest top 5 projects that are ongoing in the research labs right now!

5.Dog Recognition!?

I’m not joking. This is serious. Yes it is “Dog” recognition. 

Dogs have always been our best friend and it will be and no doubts. The relationship that a human has with a dog can be improved if there was ”something” that would recognize our dogs and tell us about it better. That “something” will be the Dog Recognizer.

4.Food Recognition!!

This must be totally interesting, I guess. We are all food lovers. This is something that is to be appreciated and welcomed. And for people who think food and technology, they are so me!
The main motto for this project is to find out all the foods from Asia and Western countries. There is also a prototype made which is used to calculate the calories in the dish as it recognizes! Isn’t that amazing!

3.Image2Text!!?

Voice to Text , we are totally familiar about but what this is. But Image2Text? I had the very same doubt as I was glancing through the article. This is totally fascinating. The concept is very simple, as soon as an image is dropped; it describes the image in a sentence! Here you can see the advancement of technology!  A robust algorithmic knowledge is needed for this project. Isn’t it cool!?

2.IoT for Agriculture!

In world where we finding growing population the demands of the common people seem to be rising, Food is something that cannot be replaced with anything.  A technology which helps it must be appreciated and this is the one. This is something more than “cool” and totally important.

1.Omg! I can’t wait to say – Holoportation!

Somethings that we see in Sci-fi moves and Ben10 series gets us so fascinated, that we get to think about them . This is one such kind! I was awe-struck when I read about it. Holo – comes from the very technology that is used by Microsoft named HoloLens. And portation as you all know, transporting.
Holoportation is a new type of 3D capture technology that allows high quality 3D models of people to be reconstructed, compressed, and transmitted anywhere in the world in real-time. When combined with mixed reality displays such as HoloLens, this technology allows users to see and interact with remote participants in 3D as if they are actually present in their physical space. Communicating and interacting with remote users becomes as simple as face to face communication!
