Testing softwares for android apps

I hope the previous posts on the web application testing softwares did provide you with a brief idea on what exactly it was. Those 2 were much used in the testing.

Today let us look at one of the testing softwares that are available to test our android apps. 

1)  Selendroid

This is one of the products from Selenium which is specially used for testing android apps. This is an be used on emulators and also in the real object to test.

Selendroid is a test automation framework which drives off the UI of Android native and hybrid applications (apps) and the mobile web. Tests are written using the Selenium 2 client API - that's it!

 For testing iOS apps we have special iOS tester that check the working of the native, hybrid web applications running on iOS.
