My God is my soup !?

Humans have been quiet fascinating creatures since their creation. All acts done and justified are quiet interesting and continues to be weirdly interesting in some serious ways!

It is the moments of despair that makes you question so many things that life has put forth. I remember the vivid days when I sat with nothing but in silence and just in thoughts. It was the time when my university admission was cancelled. I felt devastated. It was like my future was furthered and was kept somewhere very far away from my reach. I was 22 years old, furious, indifferent, questioning life, wisdom, timing, fate, god and what not! Call it teenage angst or depression.

It is interesting to know that once your problems are resolved you turn out to be either someone who has an increased belief in the existence of the superpower (God) or rather look at the incident and think about it from a logical perspective.

In this case, think with me: who/what is God?

When it comes to mere existence, life’s equation mostly consists of You, Problem and Solution. We are all forced to look at the man made situations as problem and tell ourselves that we need a solution, this to me is a triangle of life: You, Problem and Solution.

Case 1: Solution = God: Most of the times we equate God to our Solution and are contented with that;

Case 2 : Solution = You :quite a few of Us equate ourselves to Solution and are solving our problems. (Using God for most intense battles; reminds me of Pokémon battlefield)

It is interesting to know the concept of God was brought into this equation to help us to bank on certain emotions when we are overpowered by the thought of problem.

With all things listened, studied and question, I can say, we, humans have understood the key characteristic that govern us or drove us, which is mostly fear. Another important factor that helps us to live and try, is hope, non-questionable intense hope is faith. Taking all these key ingredients and boiling down to the right, we have made our soup: our gods. (Some religions are flexible enough in letting us ask for a bit more pepper or salt, but some doesn’t, sadly!)

In order for a human mind to perceive the concept of god/ or to make it more tangible to understand: we have personified!

All of this definition or the picture we have painted of God, are merely from a human perspective but is it how god is?

The conceptual thinking on resolving problems has let us to think more in a mechanical/methodical or more process oriented ways, and for some which we once again added a human touch to it, interestingly!

We opt for such approaches in order to understand better, isn’t it? But does a methodical approach work in defining something that is so vast like God?

Is there any other way to define God or superpower with out confining it with mere words that religions have opted?

If so, are we ready to question the very structure that has defined God? Are ready to decipher/break the very structure of understanding that is related to God and build it from scratch?

Innate ability of a human is to “cling onto”. We are clingy beings, we cling on to hope, our land, our identity, our values, our religion, our society, husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend. But what if all of what makes us are questioned, in such a way that it destroys the very self!

Are we ready to erase all and start from scratch in order to seek answers!?

If ready, from where or with what would we start to build again!? Can that very genesis be called God? or is it a mere process again?
