The Power of a dictionary

How many of you like to really refer a dictionary when you need a meaning of a word? I guess not many will like that. You know that is a “work”. Getting a dictionary, opening the pages and finding the exact match out of hundreds of words –Uff! It is really a work I would say.

 Just imagine how you will ever get to know about a word, which you are not familiar with. How will know to spell a new word that you never heard of without making use of its phonetics in dictionary? You know there is really a lot of valuable information contained in that big book. But we tend to ignore that, just by looking at its size. 

Dictionaries as you know not only provide you with only meaning but also give their usage in a sentence its other various forms in which it can be used such as its adjective, or verb etc. Looking dictionary this way, why can we see the positive aspect of it.
